Coaching services for ambitious early to mid-career professionals and entrepreneurs
Who I am
A Black African woman who has lived on three different continents, has traveled to 15+ countries, speaks 4+ languages (French, English, Spanish and Japanese – learning Korean), and has worked in drastically contrasting industries. A little more about me here.
My training and experience as a Product Owner/Marketing Lead taught me that “a Scrum Master is an impediment remover“. So I enjoy being an outsider looking in with fresh eyes who:
- Provides clarity to soon-to-be, early and mid-career ambitious professionals looking to build a fulfilling career;
- Helps ethnically-diverse individuals to embrace their cultural uniqueness in the workplace and stand for themselves;
- Supports entrepreneurs / founders in developing their leadership purpose and the clarity they need to succeed as long-term business leaders.
Why working with me?
I am part of several minority groups all at once. I identify as:
- an immigrant;
- a Black person;
- African born and raised;
- a woman;
- a Millennial.
Sure there are many advice, models and systems to help professionals to navigate and grow their careers. What I have found is that these tools were seldom adapted to my identities – some of them were completely oblivious to societal biases towards me.
Nonetheless I have learned to leverage these tools and biases to my benefit and it has allowed me to close to 6x my salary in a little under 10 years.
My emotional and social intelligence, my interpersonal skills and my cultural acuteness grew tremendously in the process.
I want to help my clients to do the same through inquisitive brainstorming exercises.
My coaching services equip and empower my clients so that by the end of each mandate, they know how to source the information, resources, skills needed to achieve their goals.
Most importantly, they learn how to pivot confidently if the circumstances require it.
Who I Work With
Ambitious individuals benefit the most from my coaching. More specifically:
- Soon-to-be or recent graduates;
- Entrepreneurs and founders (solopreneurs, business owners, freelance, etc.);
- Early to mid-career professionals.
Why? I have a strong bias towards action so my clients have to be highly-motivated and achievement-orientated individuals looking to fast-track their career or entrepreneurial journey. We get things done – this time, together!
On a more personal note, supporting the success of women from diverse ethnic groups, going through what I have gone and still am going through, brings me joy and fulfillment. Specifically, I lean towards W O M E N O F C O L O R. Meaning any woman who is not considered “white” or “Caucasian”.
But I welcome any opportunity to accompany a woman in her journey because at heart, I support the socio-economic development of every woman.
